Last updated: 25/08/2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website eurosteelbars.com (the “Site”) and any quotation, order, sale, or supply of goods between Euro Steel Bars and you or your company (“Buyer,” “you,” or “your”). By using the Site or submitting an RFQ (request for quote) or purchase order to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are intended for business-to-business (B2B) transactions. The Site and our products are not directed at, and should not be relied upon by, individual consumers.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order with us.

2. Use of the Website
- The Site is provided for the purpose of browsing our product range, requesting quotations, and contacting us regarding potential orders.
- You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it (e.g., by introducing malware, scraping content without permission, or submitting false inquiries).
- All content on the Site including text, product descriptions, logos, images, and layout is owned by or licensed to Euro Steel Bars and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent (see Section 12, Intellectual Property).
- We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
3. Quotations and Offers
- Any prices, specifications, or availability shown on the Site, or communicated via email, WhatsApp, or phone, are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer unless confirmed in a formal, written quotation issued by Euro Steel Bars.
- Quotations are valid only for the period stated on the quotation (or, if unstated, for 7 calendar days from issue) and are subject to material availability and prevailing mill/market prices at the time of order confirmation.
- Steel prices are volatile and tied to raw material, freight, and currency markets. We reserve the right to revise a quotation prior to order confirmation if there is a material change in these factors.
- A binding contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation or pro forma invoice accepting your purchase order, and, where applicable, upon our receipt of the agreed deposit or payment.
4. Orders, Specifications, and Buyer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring that the grade, size, standard (ASTM, DIN, EN, JIS, etc.), quantity, and any cut-to-size or finishing requirements specified in your purchase order are accurate and complete.
- Where you supply drawings, specifications, or technical requirements, you warrant that they are correct and that you have the right to share them with us.
- Any errors in specification identified after order confirmation may result in delays, additional charges, or inability to fulfil the order as originally priced.
- Minimum order quantities (MOQs) may apply depending on grade, size, and whether material is ex-stock or mill-order. MOQs will be confirmed at the time of quotation.
5. Pricing and Payment Terms
- All prices are quoted in the currency stated on the quotation (typically USD or EUR) and are exclusive of taxes, duties, and freight/insurance unless otherwise stated (Incoterms will be specified per order, e.g., FOB, CFR, CIF, EXW).
- Payment terms (e.g., advance payment, Letter of Credit, partial deposit with balance against shipping documents) will be agreed and confirmed in writing for each order.
- Late payment may result in delayed shipment, storage charges, or cancellation of the order at our discretion, without prejudice to any other rights we may have.
- Bank charges associated with international payments and Letters of Credit are the responsibility of the Buyer unless otherwise agreed.
- Title to goods remains with Euro Steel Bars until payment has been received in full, notwithstanding delivery.
6. Delivery, Shipping, and Risk
- Delivery timelines quoted are estimates only and are not guaranteed, given the international, multi-party nature of steel logistics (mill production, freight schedules, customs, port congestion).
- Risk in the goods passes to the Buyer in accordance with the Incoterm agreed for that order.
- The Buyer is responsible for arranging import clearance, permits, and duties at the destination, unless we have expressly agreed to handle these as part of the order (e.g., under DDP terms).
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by carriers, customs authorities, port operations, or other third parties outside our reasonable control.
- Partial shipments and reasonable tolerances in quantity (typically +/- 5–10%, consistent with mill and industry practice) may apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Mill Test Certificates and Quality Documentation
- Where agreed, we provide EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates and applicable quality documentation (e.g., PMI reports, ultrasonic testing, dimensional inspection reports) with the relevant shipment.
- Certificates reflect the testing and certification carried out by the producing mill or an accredited testing body and are provided to the Buyer in good faith as supplied to us.
- The Buyer is responsible for confirming, prior to order confirmation, that the certification type and testing standard requested meets its project or regulatory requirements. We are not responsible for a Buyer’s downstream regulatory, project, or end-client approval processes.
8. Inspection, Claims, and Returns
- The Buyer must inspect goods promptly upon receipt and notify Euro Steel Bars in writing of any shortage, damage, or non-conformance within 7 days of delivery, with supporting evidence (photographs, inspection reports).
- Claims raised after this period may not be accepted, except where required by applicable law.
- Where a claim is verified and accepted, our liability is limited, at our discretion, to replacement of the non-conforming material, a corresponding credit note, or a refund for the affected portion of the order and does not extend to consequential losses (see Section 9, Limitation of Liability).
- Custom cut-to-size or made-to-order material is generally non-returnable except in the case of a verified quality or specification defect on our part.
9. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Euro Steel Bars’ total liability arising out of or in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of the goods giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of production, project delay costs, or loss of business opportunity, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (e.g., liability for fraud or gross negligence, where recognized in the relevant jurisdiction).
10. Force Majeure
Euro Steel Bars shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, mill shutdowns, raw material shortages, shipping or port disruptions, pandemics, government action, sanctions, or export/import restrictions. In such cases, affected obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, and we will notify the Buyer as soon as reasonably practicable.
11. Export Control, Sanctions, and Compliance
- Buyers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase, import, and end-use of the goods comply with all applicable laws, including export control, trade sanctions, and import regulations in the destination country.
- We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order where we reasonably believe it may involve a sanctioned party, prohibited end-use, or a jurisdiction subject to trade restrictions.
- The Buyer warrants that it is not, and is not owned or controlled by, a party subject to applicable trade sanctions.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, product photography, and materials on the Site are the property of Euro Steel Bars or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
13. Confidentiality
Any technical drawings, specifications, pricing, or commercial terms exchanged between the parties in connection with an inquiry or order shall be treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of evaluating and fulfilling that order, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
14. Website Disclaimer
- While we make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate and current, product availability, technical specifications, and images are provided for general reference only and do not form part of any contract unless expressly confirmed in a written quotation or order confirmation.
- We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
15. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data submitted through the Site or in connection with an order is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific order (for example, where a Buyer’s purchase order specifies different governing law), these Terms and any order placed with Euro Steel Bars are governed by the laws of India.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or an order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, or resolved by arbitration as separately agreed between the parties for a given contract.
- For international orders, the parties may agree in the order confirmation to apply the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) or an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, where appropriate.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or legal requirements. The version in effect at the time an order is confirmed will apply to that order. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this version took effect.
